Today, I studied about the "Alcohol thermometer" in the period of the science of school. When the bulb of the alcohol thermometer was pinched by hand, the red liquid alcohol went up gradually. Since this thermometer is up to 100 degree C, it will be broken if the temperature exceeds 100 degree C.
